1.
the inside of truth comes
in a blinding flash;
the choice to believe truth
as we have seen it
takes an entire lifetime.
2.
in our bones we know truth
even when our skin
hides the shrapnel of life
buried underneath.
3.
love is like the sea
vast and current driven
when we are pulled in
drawn outside of our will–
centripetally
held–we see the beauty
of fluidity
carved by the light of love.
4.
if we know the peace
found in fluidity,
why is it then we
crave the concrete of stone?
5.
circular patterns
rule our lives as they carve
paths of silt and sand,
shifting and re-settling,
inescapable.
